Mastiffs are a very massive, large boned and powerful breed of dogs. They have a robust build and broad head. A male can weight anywhere from 150-250 pounds fully grown, and females can weigh 120-200 pounds. They are short-haired and are either apricot, fawn, and brindle, with dark ears and a dark muzzle.
Despite their size, Mastiffs are known as "GENTLE GIANTS." They are very affectionate and loyal. These dogs are good natured, gentle, and calm, despite their size and in addition to guard dogs, they make great family pets.
